Foundation for Integration and Development
Integráció és Fejlesztés Alapítvány (IFA)
IFA is a brand-new NGO aiming to provide support for disadvantaged groups of local communities and/or individuals who are in a disease condition or for such a reason emarginated, cut away from the European Society or at risk of marginalization and to civil organisations which are dealing with those at risk of social exclusion.
The Foundation encourages the obtainment of full integration and autonomy of people who are in difficulties through the promotion of:
  • equal opportunities for all within European Society for education, employment, health promotion and access to healthcare services
  • social empowerment of individuals for active participation to local communities’ development;
  • dialogue and cooperation among civil organisations/ institutions and/or public authorities at local at national and international level;
  • scientific and professional collaboration with organisations and institutions from other EU Member States.
The Foundation for the achievement of its purposes builds up the expertise mainly through the creation of a professional and cultural bridge between Hungarian and Italian experiences gained by professional organisations in the field. IFA staff is composed of Italian and Hungarian professionals of adult education, psychology, political and social sciences, international law and regional development. Their expertises converge in a conception of human development which is necessarily related to the social and environmental contexts and the dimension and configuration of the social networks in which the subject (individual or community) is living. Enhancing opportunities of development means to create occasions of cross-cultural contamination and integration of knowledge among different professional domains.

• Advocacy for claiming the public authorities’ commitments in favour of disadvantaged and weakest persons to affirm their rights
